Re: What is everyone up to?
Running a business and taking care of kids! How have you been? Yeah, I removed some of the forums, the other forums are still here but hidden. I only keep the forum here to keep contact with anyone who wants to get in touch with us or others. Dristin is basically a result of the ebb and flow of time...

Re: Update Time
Working right now! The stuff I've been working on isn't really update worthy. Might make a post just to get some communication out there though. I'm knee deep in the new client rendering code right now.Schmanky wrote:This still going? Or has it been dropped to the backburner again?

Re: Device Compatibility
this is the major reason for what we've been doing. The client used to be windows only using directx. It's now written using SDL which will allow us to port it to most anything. To start, we are maintaining Windows & Linux builds mainly because that is the easiest workflow at the moment. Once we hav...

Re: PKing
How about a 'wanted' list at town halls? For example: Relic kills Abscess (skull system, PKed, or whatever you implement) and it's unjustified. A list/mercenary NPC character in town has every murderer who has made an unjust kill in the last 24/48/72 hours. You can see what lvl they are and who the...

Re: Version 0.002
Do you guys have any ideas for what you'd want contributed from the community? I think it's an awesome idea to put the map editor online and take submissions for user generated maps, really excited about that. The sprites and graphics are a good idea as well, it will certainly free up your time. Ho...

Wee....Nah, not weekly. Just an Update
So I quickly have realised that since everything were working on right now is in the background that a weekly update is a bit pointless. I have been working on a very robust input system which I am sure is just getting you all super excited  . The biggest parts of what we are doing now is gett...

Re: Version 0.002
Great to hear people are still checking in from time to time. Since so much time has passed since last touching the project, getting back up to speed has been tough. Steadily making progress though

Trying to come up with a weekly update but there isn't a whole lot new to talk about since I'm basically continuing the work from last week.

Weekly Update 2
This past week went well. All the tasks have been reviewed and changed to suit current needs. Spent too much time getting Linux build workflow figured out again but that's pretty well figured out. I still have some straggling project organization tasklists related items to sort out but that can happ...
