lets all hope that it happens and I think that they will pull it off, tibia was started by collage students. Sadly now tibia is dead, very far from the game it used to be. Dristin is being made by people who liked tibias older versions so when it comes out I think it will be a great game even if it doesn't meet some peoples graphical standards. xD

If people want Graphics they really should go back to their store bought mmorpgs... All I care about with Dristin is the Gameplay and hopefully it will have some good pvp elements and teamwork aspects.

Oh god, what exactly ARE peoples graphical standards for Dristin?

And yes, we are still working (albiet slowly). I'm actually working right now...well i was until i checked the site. Basic 'make the game engine better' type of code.

I'd have to say the poll is a bit decieving. If i put up the server right now, let you all on it..does that qualify? A game like this will never be 'finished' as it's intended to allways be worked on. How about a specific goal?

When do you think (we will be able to kill the first monster)
When do you think (we can log on and chat with each other)
When do you think (we can do our first quest)
etc...

i think it would be cool if dristin was open right now, i mean one week you can walk around, then soon talking to others, then can look at things..ect i think it would make it more fun to get on to see whats new and whats improved

but i am hoping its on by the end of this year

Don't worry Relic, some of us actually understand that you can't devote 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, into making a game. Even though some people seem to be able to play Tibia that much.................
