Hey guys, I have a really cool suggestion that I hope you implement when the game comes out.

Here it is;

Think about introducing non-PvP zones on PvP worlds! This means that PvP would no longer possible within the borders of such zones whereas fights against monsters should still be possible. The plan is to turn Dristin's cities or at least parts of them into non-PvP zones. This may also apply to certain spiritual places (e.g. places where NPCs sell blessings).

Why?

I want to pacify certain areas since we are of the opinion that there should be peaceful places to retreat and to relax. Nobody should be afraid of getting killed by other players in front of a depot, a shop or their house. Cities, for example, are places of socialisation and communication and should not be PvP battle fields. I am aware that some problems from non-Pvp worlds may also appear in non-PvP zones but I think that the pros of such zones outweigh the cons by far.

But seriously, CipSoft sucks balls. Can't wait for Dristin ;D

I agree heartily, I was a late starter in Tibian and so I would get killed at hunting grounds left and right. The cities were even worse, I avoided them at all costs. expanded non-pvp zones would help low levels become competitors without the threat of constant pk when they get close.

with non-pvp comes botting. it is an interesting idea but botters, when they come will love these non-pvp area's. Also it would be a great hide out from someone you just killed and their guild. What i am trying to say is that it would be too problematic... it would be very difficult to make such a zone that people could enter and kill creatures but not attack people. I found the Depot and Temple's sufficient enough in terms of safe zones personally.

I agree with Keeper of Death, Botting would be rampant in such areas and it would take the fun out of warring guilds aswell. I dont mind the idea of having a very small area of safe zone around blessing keepers and monks or something, just so you dont get killed when your trying to buy a blessing lol. But other than that I would like to see PVP area all round :D

Relic has stated in another post somewhere on this forum that anyone caught cheating will be instantly deleted, it is this reason alone that simply makes me want to put effort into dristin when it releases.

Yup I agree with DastiX, it should be pvp zone everywhere except temples and depots! The constant threat is always fun ;D
