"The Old Man"
Re: Preferance
Well, I mentioned a Monk from my old D&D days, I enjoyed not using weapons but having wicked hand fighting skills, climbing walls without ropes or boxes, healing hands, holy damage, etc... likewise this could good or evil depending on guild.... just that I've not seen something along the true monk class in any of the games.... but then again... I'm old and don't get out much.
Re: Preferance
I think the biggest reason for games not having a monk class is because monks typically dont use much in the way of equipment. Having a class that has little need for eq makes it hard to balance the economics of the game for the other classes. Essentially when it comes to cool loot, the monk class is only ever going to be selling it. However, it would be interesting to have a monk training type of class upgrade, where you gain some components of a traditional monk class (hand fighting abilitys namley)Pleiad wrote:Well, I mentioned a Monk from my old D&D days, I enjoyed not using weapons but having wicked hand fighting skills, climbing walls without ropes or boxes, healing hands, holy damage, etc... likewise this could good or evil depending on guild.... just that I've not seen something along the true monk class in any of the games.... but then again...
